VELOUR

The Lounge House

The house

VELOUR grew out of a listening room on Grand River Avenue — a hi-fi bar where the records were flat, the seats were low, and nobody checked their phone. The house makes small-batch flower and pastilles tuned to the same idea: sit down, drop the needle, stay a while.

Every VELOUR release is written up like a record — A-side, B-side, runtime. The cultivars come from two Michigan growers the house has worked with since the first pressing, and every batch is listed with its lot and its lab sheet, the way a proper reissue lists its master tape.

Velvet is a texture, not a flex. The house believes the quietest room in the building is the one people remember.
