From the Archive: SF3

By The Founder's Desk · Creative Direction

Years before this floor existed, the founder designed an entire fictional cannabis brand — mylars, jars, boxes, spin videos — and forgot the files existed. We found the folder. The Archive House is what came out of it.

Plate · SPRINGFIELD FARMS,

Every archive discovery story is the same story: a folder with a short cryptic name, a scroll, a pause, and then the sound a person makes when they meet their own taste from years ago. Ours was called SF3.

Inside: a complete brand that never existed. Springfield Farms — night palms under starfields, tear-strip greens, holographic Liquid Diamond sleeves, ounce mylars with compliance marks drawn in before compliance was anyone's job. Dozens of finished renders. Spin videos. An entire product architecture — flower, rosin, gummies, carts — designed end to end, for no client, for no market, for the oldest reason there is: to see if it could be made beautiful.

Why we reissued it as found

The temptation with old work is to fix it. We declined. The Archive House ships exactly as rendered — same art, same era, the file's own dust — because the point of an archive is proof, and you don't repaint proof. The launch houses show what this floor believes now. SF3 shows how long the believing has been going on.

The selection

Not everything in the vault walks the floor. The era loved a borrowed joke the way every era does, and the pieces that leaned on someone else's characters or candy stay archived — respect for other people's work is a house law older than any house. What walks is the original run: the night-palm series, the Liquid Diamond flagship, the names the founder made up whole.

Reissue 01 is three pieces. When they're gone, the vault decides what's next. That's not scarcity theater — that's how archives work.
